The next Trek Talk lecture from 6-7 p.m. March 15 in the planetarium is “Utopia vs Dystopia: Trek’s Idea of the Future.” This talk will examine Star Trek’s unique look at humanity’s future as a successful space faring society free of war and poverty. Compared to the world today that may sound utopian, but a closer look at “Star Trek” may show how achievable that future may be.
