GlobeMed to Host Benefit Dinner April 28

GlobeMed’s annual benefit dinner will take place at 6 p.m. April 28 at the El Kadir Shrine Club. 

All proceeds from the event will go to the Mission for Community Development (MCODE) in Uganda. The event will have a silent auction and a guest speaker, Truman alumnus Tim Williams from Planned Parenthood. Williams will also host a free workshop at 1 p.m. April 28 in Magruder Hall 2090. The workshop will talk about Planned Parenthood and outreach in rural communities.

Dinner is included in the ticket price. It includes an entree along with garlic bread, green beans, salad and a brownie. A cash bar will also be available.
