New Baldwin Hall Classrooms
Baldwin Hall re-opened this fall with all-new classrooms!
The building features a wide variety of styles of learning spaces including larger tiered and auditorium classrooms, C-level high-tech rooms, classrooms enhanced for multimedia/film viewing, standard classrooms with digital ink capabilities, seminar rooms, small collaborative spaces, and comfortable casual learning spaces.
It is an inviting space for classroom learning, solo reading time, and technology-enabled group study sessions.
At the end of the month, we will be finishing up with a state-of-the-art Language Learning Facility which features a collaborative lab which includes multiple teaching zones, recording capabilities, a SMARTBoard and a large, vivid LED display for full-room instruction. A second room in the facility is a computer classroom with LAN School software enabling screen sharing to and from the instructor. A third includes a suite of glass-enclosed tutoring pods.
The Learning Technologies Team and The ITS Building Support Teams stand ready to assist instructors and students in the use of these spaces.
