Scholarship Opportunity Available
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is offering an Environmental Education Scholarship Program (EESP) designed to provide scholarships to minority and other underrepresented students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an environmental course of study.
Applicants must be current Missouri residents and graduates of an accredited high school. Applicants also must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or if enrolled in college, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and enrolled as full-time students in a Missouri post-secondary institution.
Qualified candidates must be pursuing a degree in one of the following areas of study: civil, chemical, mechanical, agricultural engineering or environmental engineering; environmental areas such as geology, biology, wildlife management, planning, some aspect of a natural resource management or a closely related field; environmental chemistry or environmental law enforcement.
Applications are available in the Truman State University Financial Aid Office located in McClain Hall 103. Applications are due July 1.
