Kirk-Tran Provides Citywide Transport

Students who do not have a car can use Kirk-Tran for transportation.

Kirk-Tran is the only fully accessible public transit service in Kirksville. Kirk-Tran is administered by the City of Kirksville in cooperation with a volunteer advisory committee made up of local citizens.

Kirk-Tran provides a Demand-Response system in addition to a Fixed Route system. The Demand-Response system hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Cost is $3 each time a passenger boards the vehicle.

The Fixed Route system, which includes a stop on campus at the corner of Franklin and Randolph, has hours of operation between 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Cost is $2 each time a passenger boards the vehicle at one of the 19 local bus stops.
