Lyceum Offers Free Cultural Experiences

Since the Kohlenberg Lyceum Series began in 1899 as a lecture course, its aim has been to broaden the cultural experience of students, faculty, staff and the community through speakers, dance, music and drama.

Each year the Series brings a wide selection of attractions to the Truman campus. This year is no exception, as the tentative schedule includes the Kansas City Symphony, Jean-Michel Cousteau, The Blanks, Alvin Ailey II and The 5 Browns. A limited number of tickets are available one week prior to each performance.

Tickets for Truman students are free and available one week prior to each performance in the Student Activities Board Office located in the Student Union Building.

Additional tickets may be purchased at Edna Campbell’s or the Truman cashier window.
