Ross Earns Specials Teams Player of the Week

Grant Ross, football, was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Special Teams Player of the Week following Truman’s 18-17 overtime win against Tiffin University, Sept. 24. Ross booted a 39-yard field goal with 50 seconds left to play that knotted the score at 10 all. He made the extra point on Denim Cook’s touchdown run in the first half and averaged 55.7 yards on his three kickoffs.
