Local Group Supports Mental Health Recovery

NAMI Missouri is the statewide organization for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated building better lives for those affected by mental health challenges, as well as their families.

Kirksville’s NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group meets from 7-8 p.m. the second and fourth Sundays of every month via Zoom. To join, or for more information, contact Sarah Berke at sberke@truman.edu or 203.687.5210.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups are free, confidential and safe support groups for individuals living with mental health concerns. They are made up of peers that offer support through their learned wisdom so members can realize they are no longer alone and have a renewed sense of hope. Groups are led by trained facilitators living in recovery themselves.
