Remembering Denise Smith

Denise Smith, Truman’s director of alumni relations, passed away Nov. 9. A number of individuals have asked about a campus memorial to create a lasting legacy in her memory. Based on Denise’s love for gardens, flowers and the outdoors, one of the garden plots on the Mall will be named in her honor.
