Health Department to Host Vaccination Events
The Health Department will also host two curbside vaccination clinics from 1-3:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and Nov. 4 for second doses along with boosters. Both will be at the clinic with consent forms available at the clinic entrance.
The following people qualify for boosters:
• Those ages 65 and older;
• Those ages 18 and older who live in long-term care settings;
• Those ages 18 to 64 who have underlying health conditions; and,
• Those ages 18 to 64 who are at increased risk due to their occupation or work setting, including:
• First responders;
• Education workers such as teachers, staff, and daycare workers;
• Food and agriculture workers, including those who work at area plants;
• Correctional facility workers;
• U.S. Postal Service workers;
• Public transit workers and school bus drivers; and,
• Grocery store workers.
Anyone getting a second dose or booster shot should bring proof of previous vaccination doses. Vaccine consent forms are also required and are available at the clinic. Masks are required and short or loose sleeves are recommended.

Guidance regarding boosters has been issued that allows fully vaccinated people to mix and match any of the three available vaccines for booster doses. For example, those who are fully vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine for six months or longer can get the Pfizer-BioNTech or Johnson & Johnson booster. Those who are fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine for six months or longer can have the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson booster. Those who are fully vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can have the Pfizer or Moderna booster. The Health Department does not currently have a supply of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
