Weltha Earns First GLVC Women’s Basketball Weekly Award

Ellie Weltha earned the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award after averaging 20.5 points and 13 rebounds in the opening weekend of play.

Weltha shot 75% for the weekend making 15-of-20 shots with four of her five misses coming from long range. She scored 23 points and 12 rebounds in Truman’s loss to Ursuline, Ohio, and helped the Bulldogs bounce back with 18 points and 14 boards against Cedarville, Ohio, Nov. 11.

Weltha also added two blocks and two assists each game.
