Ross Earns GLVC Defensive Player Of Week Honors
Linebacker Ulysses Ross has earned his first Great Lakes Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week award following a career-high 13 tackles in the Bulldogs 28-24 victory over South Dakota Mines on Saturday.
Ross led the unit with 13 tackles, nine solo and assisted on four others. He was also credited with two pass breakups during the victory. His previous high was nine tackles that occurred in two games last season, against Hillsdale (Mich.) and in the bowl victory over Tiffin (Ohio).
