Bulldog Relay Breaks School Record as Part of Weekend Track and Field Activities

The relay team of Addie Mathis, Alayna Pipkin, Sophie Oxandale and Lexy Henrikson took down an 18-year old school record in the 4,000 meter distance medley. The group shattered the mark made by Sarah Armstrong, Christina Winkler, Candice Hoskins and Dani Rawllings in 2005 with a time of 12:16.85. It was the fastest DMR in the GLVC this season thus far and the 16th fastest in the NCAA Division II, earning a provisional qualifying standard. Mathis ran 1200 meters, Pipkin 400, Oxandale 800 and Henrikson the final 1600 meters.
