Test-drive Event to Raise Money for Local Schools

Lovegreen Ford, Kirksville Sr. High and Brashear High are teaming up for the Drive 4 UR School event from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 15 at Lovegreen Ford, 1801 N. Elson St.

The public is invited to join the Kirksville community in raising money for these local schools by test-driving a new Ford vehicle. For every person that takes a Fusion, Escape, Edge, F-150 or any other qualifying vehicle for a test-drive, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to local schools. As much as $6,000 could be raised. In 2015, $3,020 was raised by 151 test drives.

Students from both Kirksville High School and Brashear High will be running the event. They will coordinate everything from traffic control to registration and test-drives. For more information, call 660.665.7263.
