Delta Zeta’s Hike for Hearing
Truman’s chapter of Delta Zeta invites students, faculty and staff as well as community members to attend their hike Oct. 3 at Thousand Hills State Park, to help raise money for the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m. all members and guests will check-in at shelter no. 3 to receive their t-shirts and bib number. At noon, the hike will commence from the check-in area to the FLATS trail and then will return back.
The national organization of Delta Zeta has launched their campaign, Hike For Hearing, setting a goal of $5 million. Proceeds from this hike, and hikes across the country will help build hearing clinics around the world.
