Blackboard Upgrade

Truman will be upgrading its courseware system, Blackboard, from version 5 to version 6 at the end of 2004. This upgrade will provide course management features that both faculty and students have requested. Most notably, a new integration piece for SunGard SCT Banner will allow users to keep course and student enrollment information current in Blackboard. In addition, copy and move functions will be provided for faculty to transfer course content among multiple sections of a course.

Blackboard 5 will no longer be available once Blackboard 6 goes into production. Detailed information will be available in early January.
