ATSU Sponsors Founder’s Day Road Race
ATSU is hosting a 5k run and 1.25 mile walk at 9 a.m. Oct. 15 at the ATSU Thompson Campus Center.
Participants can early register for $15 by 5 p.m. Oct. 12 or late register for $20 until 8:30 a.m. Oct. 15. Register online at the-pack.org or active.com. Make checks payable to ATSU.
Registered participants will receive a t-shirt. Pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt on race day. The fastest overall male and female will receive trophies in the 5k. The top three in each age division will also receive medallions. All entries are eligible for post-race prize drawings. Prizes include round trip air fare to St. Louis.
Race packet pick up is at the Thompson Campus Center after 12 p.m. Oct. 14 and on race day beginning at 7:30 a.m. Medical assistance, post-race awards and beverages will be at the TCC. A post-race stretch clinic will be conducted by Student American Academy of Osteopathy (SAAO).
Proceeds benefit ATSU’s Kirksville Preferred Merchants Scholarship Fund, which provides local students scholarships to A. T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
