Creason Earns GLVC Setter of the Week Award

Tori Creason has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Setter of the Week.

The award comes after Creason’s performance during the Bulldogs’ triumph over the University of Indianapolis inside Pershing Arena. She totaled 98 assists and 21 digs across eight sets against Indianapolis and Lewis University. She averaged 12.25 assists and 2.63 digs per set while directing an offense that produced 13.5 kills per set and a .213 hitting percentage.

Her week was highlighted by a career-high 69 assists in Truman's five-set victory over Indianapolis. Creason also contributed 14 digs and three kills as the Bulldogs defeated a nationally ranked opponent for the first time during head coach David Gannon's tenure.

Creason surpassed 2,000 career assists during the third set against Indianapolis. She added 29 assists against Lewis and moved into the top 10 in Truman history with 2,067 career assists.

The award is the first of Creason's career and makes her the first Bulldog to receive the GLVC Setter of the Week honor.
