Kerby Receives 2009 Outstanding Educator Award from MSCPA
Debra Kerby, professor of accounting, received the 2009 Outstanding Educator Award from the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) during that organization’s annual convention in June.

Kerby’s award was one of the MSCPA Impact Awards to recognize CPAs who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in their profession.
The Outstanding Educator Award recognizes Kerby’s distinguished contributions to classroom teaching, motivating students, educational innovation and active involvement in the CPA profession.
Currently Kerby serves on the MSCPA’s Centennial Celebration and LEAP (Lead and Enhance the Accounting Profession) committees.
