Weltha Earns All-Region Honors

Graduate senior Ellie Weltha was voted second team all-Midwest region by the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) for the 2023-24 season.
 
Weltha became the fifth Bulldog all-time to earn all-conference honors for four seasons and is only the second Truman player to place on the first team three times. She averaged 17.8 points per game, which ranked fourth among teams in the Midwest region comprised of schools from the GLVC, Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). She was seventh in rebounds per game (8.7), fifth in field goal percentage (55.8%) and sixth in double-doubles (10) in the region.
 
College Sports Communicators from NCAA Division II Midwest region schools and conferences nominated and voted upon the all-region teams. First-team selections were advanced to the national All-American ballot.
