Heveroh and Traube Selected for NCAA Division II National Swim Championships

Juniors Meg Heveroh and Emily Traube of the women’s swimming team have been selected to compete at the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship meet in Geneva, Ohio, at the SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center, March 12-16.

Heveroh was selected to race in both the 1000 and 1650 freestyle events and is also an invited participant in the 500 free. She was the bronze medalist in the 1000 and 1650 at the Great Lakes Valley Conference meet and is seeded 17th in the 1000 and 14th in the 1650. She was fifth at the conference meet in the 500 free.

Traube was selected for the 100 freestyle swim and is seeded eighth in the event. She won the GLVC title in the 100 free. She is also invited to swim in both the 50 and 200 free events. She was fifth at the GLVC in the 50 and fourth in the 200.

Both swimmers are making their first appearance in the national championship meet.
