Morris is Selected for NCAA Indoor Nationals

Senior Jacob Morris was selected for the NCAA Division II National Championship in the weight throw that will take place in Pittsburg, Kansas, March 8.

Morris is currently ranked sixth in the event. It will be the third indoor national meet for Morris in the weight throw. He was eighth last season and 10th in 2022. He has competed in two outdoor national meets with a highest finish of fourth in the 2022 discus toss.

At the Great Lakes Valley Conference last Saturday, Morris won his first GLVC indoor event championship and fourth overall conference title with a mark of 16.44 meters.
