Quarterback Nolan Hair earned his first Great Lakes Valley Conference “Player of the Week” award after leading the Bulldogs to a 31-10 Homecoming win against William Jewell, Oct. 21. Hair completed a season-high 25 passes on 36 throws for 248 yards while tossing three touchdown passes in the win. He also added 29 rushing yards on three attempts.

His three TD passes moved Hair into third place on the all-time list at Truman with 55, passing his predecessor Jaden Barr and Bulldog great Jeff Frost. He also gained more than 6,000 career passing yards at Truman, which ranks him sixth all-time. Hair has started the past 34 games for the Bulldogs and during that span the quarterback has help lead the team to a 28-7 record along with a national ranking in each of the past three seasons.

This was Hair’s first GLVC Offensive Player of the Week accolade.
