A Voteless People is A Hopeless People

Attendees will watch a presidential debate and have a discussion on education while voter registration will be available.

Attend to learn more about college majors and career paths while also getting advice on how to succeed at the college level.

Mindfulness and Meditation Session

Attend to learn more about mindfulness and its benefits while also participating in a meditation session.

Heads Up Game Night Tournament
7:06 p.m.
Jan. 30
Student Union Building Georgian Room C
Attend to play in the game Heads Up with a team of up to seven people. Winner gets free entry into Alpha Phi Alpha’s scholarship competition, Feb 1. Hot chocolate will be available. Teams can sign up by emailing Chris Dailey at ced4343@truman.edu with the team captain name and the members on the team.

The Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Competition, one of the national programs under the sponsorship of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., is an outgrowth of the long tradition of chapters recognizing outstanding young women for their success in exemplifying the principles of Alpha: scholarship, fellowship, good character and the uplifting of humanity. Miss Black and Gold is intelligent, dignified, talented and ultimately, a role model for young collegiate women.
