Student Media Win Awards at MCMA Conference
The Truman Index took home 14 awards at the 2016 Missouri College Media Association Conference April 8-9 in Cape Giradeau.
Truman sent six students to the conference hosted by Southeast Missouri State University. The conference, which welcomed representatives from Missouri’s 32 MCMA member colleges and universities, included sessions and panel discussions to explore media-related topics and encourage discourse among those who attended the event.
Truman competed in Division II, which is comprised of seven mid-sized, four-year schools. Eligible student work was produced and published in the Index newspaper during the 2015 calendar year.
