GLVC Academic Excellence Award Achieved by 41 Bulldogs

Forty-one Bulldogs were named recipients of the GLVC Council of Presidents' Academic Excellence Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

The GLVC recognized a record 635 student-athletes across its membership, surpassing last year's total and continuing the league's upward trend in academic achievement.

The award is presented to student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility, maintained at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average throughout their collegiate careers, competed in the GLVC for a minimum of two years and completed at least 96 credit hours. Each student-athlete may receive the honor only once, making it one of the conference's highest academic distinctions.

Among the honorees, eight Truman student-athletes were further recognized for achieving a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA to conclude their collegiate careers. These Bulldogs represent the highest level of academic success across the conference. The honorees include Rose Baldus, Avery Bohnenstiehl, Joshua Engle, Taylor Graham, Allison Heaney, Chloe Myers and Cora Stimpson.
