Cade McKnight

Cade McKnight was among 16 Great Lakes Valley Conference scholar athletes of the 2021-22 School year. McKnight was one of the best players in the GLVC during the 2021-22 season, averaging 19.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game to help lead the Bulldogs to a 20-10 record and another NCAA Tournament appearance. In addition to being a First Team All-GLVC selection, McKnight was a D2CCA First Team All-Region choice and a NABC All-American after finishing third in the league in points per game and 58th in all of Division II. Getting a master’s in Leadership, McKnight had a perfect 4.0 GPA in his grad program and was a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree and Academic All-GLVC selection. Until McKnight this year, Zach Fischer was the last Bulldog to win Scholar-Athlete of the Year back in 2017-18.
