NEMO Fair Returns July 13
The annual Northeast Missouri (NEMO) Fair returns July 13-18, featuring livestock shows, exhibits, carnival rides, contests and nightly grandstand entertainment.
Prior to the fair’s grand opening, setup, drop-offs, shows, contests and judging will happen July 11-13 throughout the day. During these days, admission is free, allowing community members to enjoy crafts, baked goods, crops and animals showcased by local exhibitors.
July 13
Opening ceremonies will take place at 6 p.m. July 13 at the flagpoles, followed by a pie-eating contest at 6:30 p.m. and a garden tractor pull at 7 p.m. in the grandstands.
July 14
Poultry and sheep shows will take place throughout the morning from 7-11:30 a.m. Kids’ games and contests will begin at 4 p.m. in the 4-H Building, while carnival rides begin rolling again at 5 p.m., continuing until 11 p.m. Evening entertainment, the Outlaw Rodeo, will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the grandstands. Carnival rides and kids’ events will take place at the same time each day through July 18.
July 15
Goat shows will take place from 7-10:30 a.m. in the 4-H Building. The Kids Pedal Pull begins at 5 p.m., followed by XCaliber Truck and Tractor Pulling at 7 p.m. in the grandstands.
July 16
Swine check-ins and shows will take place from 8-11:30 a.m. The Super Farmer Challenge begins at 5:30 p.m. east of the Multipurpose Building, followed by a performance by The Pork Tornadoes with special guest Riker at 8 p.m. in the grandstands.
July 17
Rabbit and beef check-ins and shows will run from 6-11:30 a.m. Evening entertainment will feature country singer Travis Denning with special guest Jason Brown at 8 p.m. in the grandstands.
July 18
The final day of the fair will feature several 4-H and FFA events in the Livestock Arena, including awards and the buyers and sellers' brunch at 9 a.m. and the premium livestock sale at 10 a.m. The week concludes with a performance by country singer Chris Cagle featuring special guest Chloe Hoecker at 8 p.m. in the grandstands.

Tickets are priced at $60 for a season pass, $30 for a Tuesday-Thursday day pass, or $35 for a Friday or Saturday day pass.
