Brown, Kingery Earn All-Conference Accolades

Julian Brown, senior guard, has been named to the All-GLVC Second Team, while Drew Kingery, junior guard, was selected as the program's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree.
Brown was one of 11 players named to the All-GLVC Second Team, capping a senior season in which he led the Bulldogs in scoring. He averaged 15.3 points per game overall, and 14.9 points per game in conference play, shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from three-point range across 26 appearances. Brown was one of the most consistent offensive contributors in the league, earning the addition of his name to the All-GLVC Second Team.
Kingery, a multi-year starter who appeared in all 28 games this season, averaged 8.4 points per game while shooting a team-best 50.6 percent from the field and 41.8 percent from beyond the arc. He was one of the most efficient players on the roster and one of Truman's most reliable contributors throughout the season. In conference play, Kingery averaged 9.8 points per game on 51.9 percent shooting. Kingery was awarded the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior, are in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the competition setting.
The Bulldogs finished 12-16 overall and 9-11 in conference play. Brown and Kingery were supported by a balanced roster that also featured Emmanuel Byrd, who averaged 10.9 points and a team-leading 9.0 rebounds per game, and Jahki Parrinello, who averaged 14.5 points and a team-high 3.6 assists per game on the season.
