Brodric Thomas is one of 24 NCAA players invited to the Professional Basketball Combine, and the only student-athlete from a DII program. The Professional Basketball Combine is a secondary draft combine designed to give players an opportunity to showcase their talents in hopes of being selected to play professional basketball. It typically takes place at the Mamba Sports Academy in California but the ongoing pandemic has prevented an in-person event this year. Thomas had a stellar senior year with the Bulldogs. He was named GLVC player of the week four times, set a program single-season record with 666 points, led the conference with 21.5 points per game and led Truman to its first conference regular season and conference tournament titles in this century.
