Kirksville Named in List of Best Places to Live in Missouri

Kirksville has been named to World Atlas’s list of the “10 Best Places to Call Home in Missouri in 2026.” Kirksville was added to the list for its practicality and unique environment, with Truman and A.T. Still University noted for their contribution in keeping the community active. Mentioned alongside the universities were the entertainment and businesses in downtown Kirksville, as well as the sites, activities and historic locations found throughout Thousand Hills State Park.
