Golf Scramble Offers Family Fun, Proceeds to Benefit Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund
The Northeast Missouri Alumni Chapter is sponsoring a Scholarship Golf Scramble July 10 at the Kirksville Country Club to benefit its scholarship fund.
Guests are also welcome and invited to use the KCC pool for just $2 per person. This is a great way to contribute to a worthy scholarship fund and have fun at the same time. All proceeds benefit the Chapter Scholarship fund.
“We are all well aware that the problems with the economy have not been kind to our investment accounts. Truman’s investments are no exception,” said Von Abbott, president of the Northeast Missouri Alumni Chapter and Truman assistant director of Public Safety. “The next few years will present many financial problems for our students as available scholarships and state funding decrease or at best, remain stagnant. This event will raise money for the chapter’s scholarship fund.”
Registration is $50 for an individual entry/$200 for a team of four. Carts are $16 per person – limited availability. Registration includes a BBQ lunch, beverages, greens fees, giveaways and great door prizes.
Registration/lunch begins at 11 a.m. and tee time is at noon. Register online now at http://store.truman.edu/alumni/item.asp?itemId=188.
After golf there will be a 19th Hole Social Hour at the DuKum Inn.
