Guest Speaker Discusses the Impact of Language Attitudes

Kai Owens (‘21) will present “Why do they sound like that? The impact of language attitudes on language variation and change” at 3:30 p.m. March 28 in Baldwin Little Theater. This talk will explore the ways in which people’s attitudes regarding language use may influence the dialectal features that are featured in performance and everyday life.
