His total of 5,207 points set a Truman record and ranks him 14th nationally in Division II for the discipline.

Addie Mathis claimed her first conference championship in the women’s mile run. She won with a time of 4:58.19, edging out Indianapolis’ Hailey Orosz at the finish line for the gold medal. Mathis also took silver in the women’s 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.31.

In the team standings, the Truman women placed sixth, with Lewis winning the GLVC title. The men finished eighth, while Lincoln claimed their first GLVC championship.
