Truman Students Participate in American Model United Nations Conference

Truman Model United Nations (POL 230) students participated in the American Model United Nations (AMUN) 2024 Conference in Chicago, Illinois during the Thanksgiving break. Students portrayed delegations from Argentina and Belarus with other members states portrayed by approximately 1,000 students from around the U.S. and the world. This year they were honored with two awards. Kira Boegeman and Emile Hamilton were awarded “Exceptional Representation of Argentina in General Assembly Third Committee,” and Ella McAuley and Emery McEvoy received “Exceptional Representation of Belarus in the General Assembly Plenary (Concurrent).”
