Quintero Earns First Career GLVC Player of the Week Award

Lia Quintero has been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

A native of Quincy, Illinois, Quintero tallied two scores against the Quincy Hawks in a 3-0 Truman win, Oct. 6. Her first goal in the 32nd minute off an assist by Emma Thompson proved to be the game winner while the second, off an assist by Quinn Nauman, set the 3-0 final score in the 61st minute. The four points against the Hawks were a career high for Quintero.

This marks Quintero’s first career selection as GLVC Offensive Player of the Week.
