Huskey and Ross Earn GLVC Weekly Football Accolades

Mason Huskey and Grant Ross were selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week following the Bulldogs 41-7 victory over Wayne State, Sept. 23.
 
Huskey rushed for a season/career-high 115 yards, scored two touchdowns on the ground and another receiving. He averaged 8.2 yards per carry and had touchdown runs of 63 yards and three yards, along with a 14-yard touchdown reception to open the scoring.

Ross was just one of several Bulldogs that had a big day on special teams. He hit a field goal from 38 yards to put Truman up 17-0 in the first quarter, then capped off a 12-play drive at the end of the half with a 26-yard chip shot field goal to send the Bulldogs into the locker room up 27-0. Ross also converted on all five extra point attempts. He has made all 14 extra point attempts this season and has hit his last 42 straight dating back to last season.
