Sicilian/Italian Folklore Colloquium
Matt Tornatore, professor of foreign language and linguistics, will entertain with his rich repertoire of Italian and Sicilian folklore.

As part of his ongoing research, Tornatore plans to spend his sabbatical as a Fulbright Scholar in Sicily next year collecting stories which have been passed down through oral tradition. This work will be done in collaboration with the University of Catania and the Center for Socio-Historic Studies of Sicily.
