Truman Food Court Offers Free Samples Oct. 7
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 7, the dining options in Truman’s Student Union Building will offer free samples. Options include Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bros. Bagels and Mein Bowl. Community residents are encouraged to attend.
Truman’s Chick-fil-A now features the full restaurant menu, including premium chicken nuggets, sandwiches, salads, mac and cheese, waffle fries and more. Regular hours are 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday.
Einstein Bros. Bagels is open on the main level of the Student Union Building from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday. It offers fresh-baked bagels, specialty sandwiches, hand-crafted drinks, coffee and more.
Mein Bowl offers healthy, made-to-order Asian cuisine, with menus built on flavorful spices, fresh vegetables, rice, noodles and protein. It is open from 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, as well as 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday.
For off-campus visitors, Truman offers free 30-minute parking on the north side of the Student Union Building, and all parking lots around the building are open after 5 p.m. and during the weekends.
Truman dining options are always open to community members. The University also includes cafeteria options in Ryle Hall and Missouri Hall, and Pickler Memorial Library features a Starbucks open seven days a week when school is in session.
