Homecoming Opens Court Nominations, Announces Employee Door Decorating Contest
Nominations for Homecoming Court and signups for a new faculty and staff door decorating contest are now open.
Each recognized student organization, residence hall and athletic team can nominate one member for a spot on Homecoming Court. Nominees must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, be a full-time and degree-seeking student, be an active member and in good standing with their nominating group, all while positively representing Truman State University.
The Homecoming Court guidelines, timeline and nominations can be found here. Nominations are live now and will close at 12 p.m. Oct. 5.
This year, Homecoming Committee will also be organizing a Door Decorating Contest across campus for staff and faculty. Any faculty or staff member can sign up to participate in the Door Decorating Contest, given they have an assigned office or workspace with a door. Photos of contest entries will be submitted through a provided Google Form by 2 p.m. Oct. 18, with judging opening Oct. 19 on the Homecoming Instagram page.
