Health Department Sponsors Vaccine Clinics
The Adair County Health Department has scheduled several opportunities for residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The vaccine will be administered at the health department, located at 1001 S. Jamison. Call 660.665.8491 to register. Participants may schedule first, second and booster doses for all adult COVID-19 vaccine clinics. Adult doses are for those ages 12 and older. Pediatric clinics are only for children ages 5-11.
Those who get their first or second vaccine can still receive gift cards as an incentive while supplies last. Qualifying vaccine participants may receive a $50 gift card from one of four local retailers, Casey’s, Hy-Vee, Walgreens, and Walmart, depending on supplies, following first or second shots. The incentive program does not include those receiving boosters.
