Fall 2014 Career Week Recap

The Fall Career & Grad School Expo took place Oct. 1 with 110 exhibitor tables in three rooms of the Student Union Building. More than 700 students attended the expo, representing 32 of 35 Truman majors.

Several recruiters stayed Oct. 2 to conduct 166 on-campus interviews for internships and jobs with their organizations. The entire week was filled with career development opportunities including mock interviews, an etiquette dinner, a volunteer fair showcasing local agency opportunities and company presentations. A LinkedIn consultant, co-sponsored by Delta Sigma Pi and Alpha Kappa Psi, also presented advice on building a strong online presence using this professional networking site.
