Read more...The University and SODEXHO will host the annual Harry S. Truman birthday celebration picnic from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., May 11, on the Mall. This year’s picnic occurs on the 10th anniversary of the Missouri legislature approving Senate Bill 340, which changed the name of Northeast Missouri State University to Truman State University. Graduating seniors will be treated to lunch sponsored by the Truman Alumni Association, TRUE (Student Alumni Council) and the Office of Advancement.
