Read more...The Truman State University Board of Governors Chair Mark Wasinger announced on Tuesday Sept. 16 that the Board had accepted the resignation of University President Barbara Dixon, effective at the close of business Oct. 15, 2008. The Board and the president have been in conversation for the past three months regarding the goals and expectations for the future and recently concluded that it is unlikely they would arrive at a mutually satisfactory agreement.
