Many Truman faculty, staff and students are involved in helping raise money and gathering canned food for multiple local organizations. One of those organizations is the Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri at Walmart is splitting $3 million to 100 different food banks across the county and the decision on who gets that money is based upon the number of votes each one gets through April 30. The Staff Council BBQ will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. May 3 at the University Club for all University staff. The menu includes grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers, fresh fruit and vegetables.
