Dereck Daschke, assistant professor of philosophy and religion, and Mike Ashcraft, associate professor of religion, have co-edited “New Religious Movements: A Documentary Reader.” The book will be available at the end of July.

Janice Clark Young, assistant professor in health and exercise sciences, is the co-author of a book released from Human Kinetics Publishers in early May 2005. “Action Plan for Menopause” was written to help women reduce menopausal symptoms, promote bone health, and decrease their risk of cardiovascular disease. Based on the latest research, the book uses an exercise-based plan to help women live more comfortably and take control of their diet, fitness level, and health. Young co-authored the book with Barbara Bushman, an exercise physiologist who teaches at Southwest Missouri State University.
