On the Road Again

It is that time of the year and our admission counselors are indeed – on the road again and could be headed to your high school or a Midwest city near you! They are loaded with all of the latest information about Truman and are your best resources when it comes to finding out exactly what you want and need to know.

Our recruitment team has the insight you need with many years of personal experience at Truman and in the Kirksville community. So no matter what questions you might have – How is the food? How early do classes start? Can I spend a semester in Australia? When will I know who my roommate is going to be? How do I apply? When can I visit? – We are all happy to help.

“Having the opportunity to meet outgoing, goal-oriented, and successful students, with such a wide range of interests is the most enjoyable part about my job,” says admission counselor Sarah Theriault. “The only thing that is better is watching the most wonderful four years of their lives pass through their minds as I describe all of the unique and inspiring opportunities available to them at one university – Truman!”

The most important goal of the staff in the Office of Admission at Truman is to make sure all of our applicants can make an educated decision when it comes to selecting a college to attend.

Our office is always buzzing with the energy of many student volunteers to visit with anyone interested in learning more about campus or the daily life of Truman students. One such group, S.T.A.R.S., has members available to chat online daily when classes are in session or anytime by email at trustars@truman.edu. If we have not had the opportunity to meet you yet, we look forward to doing so very soon! Until then, get to know us and of course, feel free to contact us with questions or to simply say ‘hello’. Also, check out our travel schedule to see when we’ll be near you.

We look forward to visiting with you soon!
