Exploring Fungal Diversity at Thousand Hills State Park

A “fungal foray” led by Bob Johnson, assistant professor of agricultural science, will take place from 9-11 a.m. Oct. 12 at Thousand Hills State Park. This foray will focus on exploring the diversity of fungi that exists in the park. Participants will collect specimens and examine what they found. Appropriate attire for walking in the woods is recommended, along with a basket for collecting. The group will meet at the playground on Big Loop Road.
