University Magazine Highlights Kirk Building Renovation

The latest issue of the Truman Review magazine is arriving in mailboxes now.
Truman Review is sent annually to alumni, parents and friends of the University. Each issue includes profiles of a current student and faculty member, as well as features on a handful of alumni. With a summer release date, it also serves as a way to recap the most recent academic year.
The cover story for the summer 2025 issue gives alumni and friends an inside look at the newly renovated Kirk Building. Since 2022, Truman has been transforming Kirk into a Student Success Center with a collaborative service model. Multiple departments – including the Career Center, the Student Health Center, Counseling Services, Student Access and Disability Services, the Center for Academic Excellence, the Communication Lab and the Writing Center – work in conjunction to assist students.
By the end of the spring semester, all the services had been relocated in Kirk Building. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house are planned for some time in the fall. Details will be announced as they become available.
In addition to printed copies, the Truman Review is also available online at trumanreview.truman.edu. A PDF version is available, and individual articles can easily be viewed and shared on social media platforms.
