Learn About Senior Citizen Services at Pie and Ice Cream Social
NEMO Senior Citizens Services (NEMO SCS) invites the community to learn more about the services it provides to area seniors at their upcoming pie and ice cream social, taking place from 3-5 p.m. Sept. 27 at the NEMO SCS Center located at 2815 N. Baltimore St. The Kirksville High Jazz Band will perform from 3-4 p.m. The event is free, but donations are accepted to help cover costs for home delivered meals.
NEMO SCS, assisting Kirksville seniors since 1973, exists to provide access to nutritious meals (in the Center, take out and home delivery), opportunities for social interactions and programming opportunities at the Center as well as in-home services that help seniors (ages 60 and above) to maintain their independence.
